I was browsing podcasts on Autism, and I didn’t find any that were made by people with Autism. So I decided to make one with my Autistic friends.

The Team Autismo podcast is where we discuss issues related to Autism and mental disorders from a lived experience perspective, with a focus on adults.
Though, to be honest, we mostly go off on tangents about video games, food, anime, and just about everything else.

This podcast is intended for adults.

Meet the team

An image of an impossibly handsome man with an impeccable pompadour, sunglasses, and a magnificent beard.

Mike is the leader of the bunch, you know him well. He wants to use his gift of fluent communication uncommonly seen in someone with autism to help people understand what autism is (and isn’t).

He transforms into his Bancho form when it’s time to get serious.
His main interests include TTRPGs, blacksmithing, and cooking.

Resident weeb of Team Autismo, Dan doesn't just enjoy anime but also Japanese sentai and kaiju films.

He insists he hails from M Space Hunter Nebula but we doubt he's telling the truth. He resides in some corner of North Carolina where he carries out nefarious duties such as amassing hundreds of hours in Dark Souls on Steam or trolling kaiju forums over why DesGhidorah was the coolest variant of Ghidorah. Outside of video games and Japanese media, Dan is an airplane enthusiast and frequently enjoys going to airshows. His favorite demonstration team is The Thunderbirds though he literally dreams of swimming across the ocean and seeing The Russian Knights one day.

Dan joined the podcast because he thought Mike was a swell guy and the platform would be a good springboard to world domination.

Lyrik is our token British Boy.

We picked him up for cheap off Gumtree because we thought he had a posh accent, but he turned out to be just as weird as the others.
